2New Training

About

With over 20 years immersed in the game, we bring a wealth of experience and passion to every training session. I, Miles Crawford, played at Loyola Marymount University, and Brandon Thomas played at the University of Hawaii. Our journeys have afforded us the privilege to train exceptional athletes such as De'Vion Harmon, a former Texas Tech standout and current G-League player for the Westchester Knicks; Evan Wardlow, a former Santa Clara University guard and current pro player in Australia; and Teddy Parham Jr., a former UPike All American and current pro player in Serbia.

At 2new Training, we specialize in developing high-level basketball skills. We meticulously break down the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, basketball iq, situational play, agility, & defense! We provide each player with the proper tools to make incremental improvements every time they step on the court. Our dedication to your growth is unwavering, and we look forward to helping you elevate your game!

Coach Miles and Coach B assessed my goals and shooting performance in detail, providing insights that focused on the fluidity and consistency of my shot. The energy and accountability that they bring to you is unmatched, making me push myself to my fullest extent. Furthermore, the variety of skills training and their experience in D1 programs reassured me that I was training with people who knew what they were doing.

    Frequently asked questions

In our initial session we assess the skill level of the player, focusing on ball handling, footwork, and shooting form!
We both played division 1 basketball and have been training actively for the past 10 years.
    * Our rates are $50-100 per hour. We also offer packages: 6 sessions for $450, 8 sessions for $650, and 10 sessions for $850.
We both just felt it was time to invest back into the game that taught us so much about life. We began training solely off of the passion we have for the game of basketball, and our desire to give each player the care and attention to detail that we admire from coaches and trainers we had.
We’ve worked with kids as young as 5 years old to adults as old as 42 years old. We’ve worked with beginners all the way to pro level athletes!
A recent moment that we are fond of was seeing our player Winston Ackah-Miezah playing in his recent aau tournament with his 15u team against a 17u team and he hit 4 threes in that game! It’s always great to see the work paying off for the players we train!
The advice we would give to a player looking to hire a trainer would be to evaluate the trainer’s credibility and if they played the game at a high level. Next we would say evaluate how you feel after that first workout to see if it is something you would want to invest in long term!
