Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to evaluate a new student and see where he and she needs to work on I also want the new student to get a good idea of what I am all about as well
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have coached for almost 30 years at every level from high s hook to the NBA As head coach in the NBA development league I learned what it takes to help develop players my experience is vast and have also coached all around the world I can easily adapt to differebt types of players.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am very flexible and adaptable. Some say I'm too reasonable but what is more important than that is helping someone get better and progress into where they want to go in our sport
How did you get started teaching?
I coached at a junior college in NY where I played The rest is history lol. I was very lucky to start where I did I owe my first cia here all of the credit.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with boys and girl students from ages of 7-19. Americans and international kids I also have worked with adult and professional players for many years.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Taking a team of players that everyone felt was a tough group that had very little talent and helping them believe in themselves where they had an incredibly successful season not only with wins but with life lessons as well morebjmpirty
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you are comfortable with. Someone you will push you but not go over the top trust is very important and you have to feel good about going to a workout and getting better. I would also look at his or her history and their back round . You want someone you will work as hard as you and not be in it for the money.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Ask about what types of drills do they do fir certain skills you want to improve on
2. How many years have you worked in this professiion
3. How accessible they are
