About
I enjoy seeing my students get excited about learning. Having a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology gives me the ability to promote high self esteem with my students. I use a variety of teaching techniques which encourages students to expand their horizons and have a desire to learn. I have taught children from age four and above. I have experience teaching adults English as a second language. I teach all phases of English, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, reading, reading comprehension, and writing. I have taught for quite some time in the Los Angeles area. Recently, I have relocated to Olympia, Washington. I am currently teaching a four year old in the area. I am looking forward to teaching more students in the area.
I thoroughly enjoy seeing my students progress, achieve their goals, and feel great about themselves and their accomplishments.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Listening is crucial. Finding out the students needs, concerns, skills, and goals will provide me with the information of the areas I need to address. It is also important that we develop a relationship based upon trust and great communication. I need to also discover the learning process(es) that are the most beneficial for my student's success. Ultimately, learning should be enjoyable. It is my intention to create an environment which promotes that very experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Most of my educational experience entailed research and writing. I have an excellent command of the English language which encompasses grammar, vocabulary, spelling, sentence composition, creating Harvard outlines, reading, and essay and detailed paper writing.
