In addition to being a die-hard food fan, I have been cooking on my own since I can remember. My parents owned restaurants in Washington, DC and Richmond for over 30 years and are French which inevitably creates foodie children. I cook often at home, am constantly checking out new restaurants and new recipes. I take the money most people use to buy clothes to buy food. I am also in the wine industry which naturally pairs very well with the food industry. In my opinion, food is to be shared and cherished - I can't wait to share my enthusiasm, passion and skills with those who are interested in learning more! ... View Profile

Hi, there! I'm Julie, an Elementary educator-turned-Art teacher in my 16th year in the field. Working with young students, it's imperative that I myself go through the process of a project before they begin; finding out what works well and what doesn't. A wealth of patience is vital and encouraging one to walk away from their work and come back with a fresh perspective is necessary. Us big kids aren't all that different from the little guys, so applying these same practices, in my mind, just makes sense. Before we get started; I'd like to listen to you first. I want to learn more about your skill level and what you would like to achieve ... View Profile
