I began sewing before I was 4. I've designed for Hollywood celebrities, Broadway shows, Red Carpet events and Tours across the world.
My students say I'm patient and make sewing fun.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process I use with working with each student is to help them create their goals and dreams.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began sewing before I wa 4. My grandmother taught me how to make patterns when I was 7. Tired of being hired as the assistant all the time; I returned to college.
I received my Associate of Arts Degree from The Fashion Insitute of Design and Merchandising. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the American College of Applied Arts and went on to attend California State Univerisity of Northridge to get my Masters Degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is $40 per hour; I will drive within a 20 mile radius. Outside of 20 miles I charge a cash gas allowence.
Students are welcome to come to my studio.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching interns when I got projets. Breaking into Hollywood is a Catch 22. You can't work unless you've worked and have experience. So, teaching those who want to learn is necessary to succeed in our industry.
What types of students have you worked with?
My student range from 8 years old to Stay at Home Moms and a Doctor who I helped create his own Neck Tie Line.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just finihed a film "Fake News" with Eric Roberts, John Savage, Martin Kove and Sofia Milos. The Writer/Producer told me he never wanted to shoot another film unless I was on his set.
Another Producer on the film gave me a script to start breaking down for his next film.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Follow your dream to live the happiest live and never quit.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Know what you want so the teacher can help you acheive your goals and desires.
