Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first day is used for assessing the athlete's level. I craft each workout regiment based on the first day evaluation. A part of that assessment is a discussion about what the student's goals are, and how I can provide support in that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied the game of football since I was a kid. I played the sport. I have coached on a multitude of levels for the past 10 years. I currently coach at Trinity International University. I have privately trained athletes all over the Southeastern US.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $30 per 2 hours. I accept cash or electronic payment.
How did you get started teaching?
I didn't have alot of good coaches growing up, and that inspired me to be the best coach I could.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with youth athletes ages 6-12, high school athletes ages 14-18, and young adults ages 19-25.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say come hydrated and ready to work. I won't waste your time, and I believe in both working hard and smart.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What are my long/short term goals?
2. Do I like the content of what I am practicing and presenting?
3. How invested am I in the process of the product that I desire?
