What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Start at the begining. Script analysis and breakdown begins with a solid 'first introduction technique' taught to me by a famed NYC acting coach of such stars as Kim Cattrall.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Literature and minor in Theatre but my real education has come from working with great directors like Gary Marshal, Tyler Perry and Michael Lehman.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $75/hr. 1hr minimum
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching for 10 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of actors - from beginning autistic persons to working stars.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently one of my former students was nominated for an Emmy. Watching his progress from 'I can't do this' to 'I made it' has been a great joy.
