Played softball for 10 years. 2 years as a catcher, 8 years as a pitcher. 3 years in adult Co-ed softball as 1st base and 2nd base.
My goal is to use my knowledge and exprience in softball to help the athlete learn the strategy of the game as well as refine and improve softball skills.
As a coach I believe it is important for athletes to "practice the way they are going to play". So I hope to encourage and motivate athletes to always give their best effort during practice to help them be fully prepared for game time . This is also important as it teaches athletes that individual improvements can help the overall success of the team.

How did you get started teaching?
8 years ago I realized softball was something I wanted to make a career out of so I switched my major to PE teaching so I can teach and coach. Growing up I had very influential coaches that helped me be the athlete that I am today and my goal is to have that impact on another student.
