We have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to positively influence so many of these children as they have grown with us.

One of the key factors to our success is the culture we create that encourages children to discover themselves.

We have created a safe environment where children learn to embrace and improve on their perceived limitations and carry that pride and determination in all that they do! We have a system that we have developed to educate, instill and develope key life skills within children to have proper habits to prepare them for college and beyond.

    I appreciate that every lesson is planned ahead of time, and the exercises that we go through have purpose.
    I love the design of the studio, and the lighting that the day time brings to the interior is beautiful. It really makes the place look modern, while still maintaining traditional values and beliefs.
    The instructors are knowledgeable, and have years of experience not only as practitioners of martial arts, but also as teachers.
    Overall, the quality that Zen Martial Arts strives to maintain and uphold is exceptional.

    Sensei Tyler and Sensei Jess are the best. This studio is not only extremely clean, well organized but have the best structure, discipline and teaching for kids. They have so much passion for what they do and it shows. Sempai Shawn is great as well, he has such a special talent when it comes to working with autistic kids, what he does is truly amazing, especially for his age. You will not find a better Karate Studio that becomes a home, they have truly become like family. My daughter is 6 and can’t wait to go and never wants to leave. That says a lot!

    Frequently asked questions

    We first have all new students do intro lessons with the instructor to first acquire some basics and confidence before they enter any group classes.

    This Trial is also an opportunity for us to evaluate them and see where their strengths and weaknesses are in regaards to Physical fitness: Agility, Cardio, Coordination, Strength, and Flexibility.  We also use this to gage, listening skills level and learning style.

    We are 1st and 2nd Degree Black Belts and have trained in the art for many years, in addition have trained students from 3 years up and older  for many years as well as well as obtained personal training certification.
