What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I asses the individual needs and abilities of each private student, and teach them according to that assessment .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt. With a professional MMA record of 4-0. I have been teaching professionally since 2006. I am also a licensed Acupuncturist with a masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I approach martial arts from mental, physical and spiritual perspectives.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while I was a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter. My first job was teaching the Marines at Camp Pendleton in 2006. Since then I have traveled and taught in many places around the world/country.
