My goal of singing well was a dream that I hadn’t realized. Instead I concentrated on my profession as an engineer. I love singing but had not connected with a teacher who demanded correct singing technique and language skills. Duba was that teacher. She was demanding, literate, and knew European classical music. I really appreciated the demands that she made on my voice tchnique and the classical songs we preformed. Her voice studio allowed me the opportunity to perform with a piano teacher in front of an audience. I really enjoyed those times. I count myself fortunate that I discovered her voice studio and that she accepted me as a student.

My family’s experience with Mona Rose studios has been nothing short of amazing. My 10 year old son has been paino taking lesson for over three years and his musical skills and talent continue to grow. My 7 year old daughter has been taking lessons with Mona for about a year and a half. She learned to read music within the first couple weeks and has learned so many new songs. I could never sing my favorite songs because of the high notes. I had a hard time reaching them. So I searched for singing lessons near Irvine and found Catherine's Music Studio. I used to be so embsarrassed singing in front of people. Catherine helped me develop and drastically increased my vocal range. I had been singing the wrong way all this time! Catherine taught me the proper way to sing a high note. She helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of my singing in front of people. She made me reslize that I could do much more than I thought I could. I am also learning how to play chords on the piano to accompany the songs that I am learning to sing now. My kiddo's started practicing ukulele at Roos Music back in 2017. They were shy then (8 yrs & 6 yrs) but Josh demonstrated so much patience and kindness. He helped build their confidence and love of playing music. The kids are now practicing the electric guitar with Aaron and Joey, who are just as fun and kind. My daughter takes lessons with Cal Music and has taken voice, piano and guitar lessons. In the years she has taken lessons, she has learned alot and had many wonderful teachers. The performances have given her confidence beyond what I though they would. I would highly recommend this studios for beginners and advanced students. I have recently decided to try to learn to sing as well and they found me the perfect teacher who makes me feel comfortable and I love my lessons also. We will be long time students here and would not go anywhere else.

Melissa is a phenomenal acting coach! My ten-year old daughter has grown and learned so much through Melissa’s performing arts workshop. Melissa is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in acting techniques and the acting industry. Melissa is positive, energetic, fun and caring. She makes the classes fun for kids while simultaneously teaching. Highly recommend this workshop!
