Jane Joaquin, CPT
About
I became a personal trainer to help change the lives of others. I once weighed 100lbs heavier and know what it takes both physically and mentally to get back into shape. I understand the fundamentals of weight training, strength training & conditioning. I help others reach their fitness goals both in person or through an online basis. You can read more and see my transformations and testimonials on my website: jengaleng.com
I deeply enjoy seeing the changes of my clients behavior, confidence and overall self esteem when we begin training together. I believe that seeing the internal changes are just as significant as the physical changes. I have a great passion in applying my knowledge & experience towards everyone I work with to create the best plan to work towards their goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For a new personal training/lifestyle coaching client, I always like to perform a full assessment of their currrent habits, diet, exercise regimen & their day to day schedule. I also go over their history of their health, previous diets and nutrition they've followed and any other pertinent information. I create a program for them to follow, that best molds to their resources based on their overall goals. I keep in contact with my clients and perform weekly check ins to ensure progress is being made, and provide periodic updates to ensure they are yielding results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through NASM as a Personal strainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Image 10 years of previous experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology research, in which I worked hands on with patients with their nutrition, daily activities and oversee their progress.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each in person training session in closes the basis of having a meal plan, as nutrition and exercise work hand in hand. I do also offer online/distance coaching as well. All of the information is on my website, at www.jengaleng.com.
How did you get started teaching?
I have once been obese, and understand the struggle. I left my career completely to pursue personal training and self development to help others who need help.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to choose someone you are comfortable with, who you can communicate to, and has all the knowledge in order to help.
