Under the direction of Alexandra Blackbird Pierre, Blackbird Dance provides a vibrant, energetic learning environment that prioritizes student fulfillment and confidence. They offer a wide range of performing arts styles for all ages and skill levels, including private lessons and group classes. Furthermore, they offer artist development for actors, models, music artists, choreography services, dancewear, and a rental space for rehearsals, events, and filming. I started gymnastics at the age of 3 and continued competing through the college level. Over the years, I have developed a deep love for the sport and have been coaching gymnastics for several years. I've had the privilege of working with athletes ages 3-18 and levels 2-10. My coaching philosophy goes beyond teaching skills; I focus on building strong fundamentals and proper technique so each athlete can reach their full potential. I tailor my approach to each student's individual needs, helping them grow in confidence, ability, and ultimately achieve their goals in the sport.

As an instructor and as a professional dancer my goal is to make your learning process effective but fun. dancing is a physical and mental exercise, whatever your reason for learning to dance, we will focus on the fundamentals and move forward. seeing the process of my students is my greatest reward. Watching my students learn to dance and improve their self-confidence makes my work meaningful. When I do special choreographies for weddings or quinceañeras, the experience is double, being part of such a special day for someone is a responsibility that I took on with much love and respect....
