I graduated from St. Mary’s College of California with a BA in Performing Arts in 2015. While pursuing my Bachelor of Arts I fell in love with mathematics and have since branched off into private tutoring and substitute teaching for charter schools. My 20 years experience of teaching dance to children has given me the resources to teach and relate to students who are struggling with math.

As a young student I struggled with math and felt frustrated by my lack of understanding. My unique perspective allows me to find different ways to help a student approach a problem. I know most students are capable of succeeding in their studies but feel frustrated and have low math esteem.

I customize my tutoring sessions to each student’s personality, homework, and textbook. We discuss mathematical concepts related to the subject and tailor each lesson to what is happening in the classroom. I tutor Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, High School Chemistry, and the mathematics section of the CBEST.

I am currently tutoring in Algebra 1, Algebra II, High School Chemistry, and Geometry.
