I have been always very curious about learning how to deal with our human emotions. On this journey, I thought bringing the pure eastern philosophies to the west in an adapted way would be very helpful. I am originally from Colombia but have studied around the world in some of the most sacred Buddhist places. I lived in the Himalayas for 3 years in a Buddhist monastery, in Thailand for 2 years, and always felt the need to find something that was a good fit for our western world. Before starting my travels, I studied and worked in advertising. I received my ICF life coaching certification and a masters degree in business coaching, but the spiritual side was still missing. Then I found a new way of meditation, a mix between pure Buddhism and the latest discoveries of neuroscience. I decided to get certified in this method of meditation, referred to as “Meditation for Daily Stress.” By the way, some of these teachings and much more spiritual content can be found in the recent App launched by my teacher. It is totally free and is available for Android and Apple iOS. The name of the App is Mind Dive. After getting my certification I finally reached the point that I was searching for. A very easy, simple, non-religious, and precise way to train the mind. I dedicate most of my time to sharing this mind training method with people who are ending their prison sentences and are reentering society, and also with women who have experienced domestic violence, pregnant women and women from all walks of life.
Seeing the people experiencing life in a more relaxed way. We all know “there is no ocean without waves” there is no life without emotions. But when we start getting a deeper understanding on how the emotions work, we are more inclined to see the life with a new perspective. So in result we take better desicions and our levels of stress reduce notoriously. Even our skin starts shining naturally and we seem younger !
Meditating with Juliana has been, honestly, a life-changing experience for me. I was drawn to learn how to meditate in a difficult moment of my life when I felt lost and a friend recommended Juliana. I cannot say enough good things about Juliana. She has become a dear friend on top of being my meditation mentor. She helped me through PTSD and PPD after the birth of my first child and I will always be grateful for her keeping me calm during the newborn days. Because we lived locally we went on weekend excursions and it helped to have my husband along as well as the baby so they could share in that calmness as well.
