Welcome! My name is Sean Matsukawa. I am a 2 time Grammy award winner and have worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Ariana Grande, ROSALÍA, and more. I have over 15 years of experience as an audio engineer & producer and 20 years of experience as a guitarist and bassist. I am passionate about sharing the knowledge and tools to help aspiring musicians create what they would like to create and play how they would love to play.

I teach beginning bluegrass banjo, clawhammer banjo, ukulele, guitar, and bluegrass mandolin on Google Meet. I've taught music for over a decade. My unique teaching style combines personal creative coaching with teaching music. I've also been featured by best selling author Jen Sincero for my photo featuring her book. My online store specializes in traditional and bluegrass books that may be difficult to find elsewhere. I love helping people realize that they can indeed make their own music and sound great in doing so! I love the fact I'm helping people in getting their muse going thru their chosen instrument.
