I have a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Composition and a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I have nearly 35 years of teaching experience. I enjoy instructing enthusiastic students using the many skills I have developed through the years. Seeing students improve is a real thrill for me. I help students by developing a keen awareness of their musical interests and showing them that the solutions are not reserved for a special few but that anyone with the determination, knowledge and desire can make real headway. I offer beginner to intermediate guitar and bass lessons for students with a focus on building strong musical fundamentals and practical playing skills. I studied Worship Music at Cedarville University, where my primary instrument was guitar and my secondary instrument was voice. During college I spent two years performing on Cedarville’s traveling worship band, Heartsong, where I played bass guitar and helped lead worship at churches and events across the country. Currently, I serve as a Worship and Youth Resident at Grace Bible Church, where I regularly play, lead worship, and work with students in both musical and ministry settings. My

Improvising and learning are my top enjoyments from teaching! I am a graduate of Miami Univerisity in Music Education. Tutoring students has been my passion since I was 6 years old. I have taught many different types of learners from 6 years and up. The most important factor in education is the learner. My goal is that you walk away loving music more than I do and that's saying a lot.

Delaware Music Academy, located in Delaware, Ohio and its surrounding areas, is renowned for its in-private music education. For over a decade, the academy's dedicated staff has catered to the needs of both amateur and professional musicians.
