About
My students, both online and in-person participate in two recitals a year. Their growth is outstanding. Contact me if you would like a link to videos of past recitals.
My students learn to play in tune, with great technique, beautiful tone and bring joy and expression into every phrase they play. I love hearing their growth and exploring all kinds of music from Classical to Brazilian and Jazz with them.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching flute since high school, teaching to some of my peers, and quickly developed a preivate studio with influx of students from my school sectionals back when I lived in Santa Barbara. I have been producing 2 recitals a year (usually Spring and Winter), since 2002.
What types of students have you worked with?
Professional musicians looking to improve teachnique or learn one of the styles I specialize in (Jazz, Classical, Brazilian styles). Professional doublers looking to improve their flute skills. Vocal students. Total beginners. I have taught private students from ages 6 to 86.
