I have been taking weekly lessons with Laura Michele for 7+ months, and she has been an excellent teacher and helped me improve my skills and confidence with jazz piano more than I thought I would be capable of in a short period of time. She meets me where I am musically and teaches me a lot about chords and theory in the context of actual jazz songs that I like and enjoy playing. Orange Music Studio was definitely one of the highlights of my high school career! I took lessons from Gala Yaroshevsky for roughly two years and she was one of the most passionate and influential teachers I've had in my life. She has the ability to go far beyond just teaching the notes and techniques and makes music such an immersive, enjoyable, and unique experience for her students. She guided me through the Advanced level of the Certificate of Merit and both the Flute Choirs and Philharmonic Orchestra of the San Jose Youth Symphony. It would not have been the same with anyone else!
