I have been taking lessons from Gabriel for the last 2 years and have seen huge improvements in my vocal abilities. His use of the Bel Canto method has helped me discover things about my voice that I did not know I was capable of. Gabriel always taylors each lesson to what my voice needs at any given moment and is able to adapt what we are working on based on how my voice is feeling that day or what it is capable of doing at any given moment. Not only have I learned to sing better, but he has taught me how to protect my voice by using proper techniques, breathing techniques and vocalizations.When I hear my voice from when I began lessons and now I can't believe the improvement.

Within ONE lesson, Howard could pinpoint EXACTLY what my trouble areas are, and not only is he able to articulate a very clear plan for dealing with those, but he has also helped me with the burdening amount of pain that plagues my joints and muscles when I play something technically demanding! Furthermore, he is very focused, understanding, knowledgeable and gentle! After having many verbally.... difficult teachers whose teaching involved quite a bit of negative reinforcement, it is an absolute pleasure and an eye opening experience to have a patient, understanding teacher. Some people may learn quite well in that fashion, and there was a period of time when I actually believed, or rather was brainwashed into thinking that being verbally berated would serve as motivation. But now I see quite clearly that is not the case: I learn a lot better and I am more motivated to practice when I find it a pleasure to go to my piano lessons! Thank you, Howard for all your dedication, patience and knowledge!

Maria is dedicated to teaching her students the ins and outs of music from performance teachniques to music theory. Maria is super patient, kind, very encouraging and tried all method to make My daughter Gilline not as nervous. Even after the first class I Heard a big improvement of Gilline’s voice. Thanks Maria. I had never done anything musical before deciding to take voice lessons with Rickie. I was so nervous but she made me feel so comfortable and helped me really learn technique, find my voice and confidence and fall in love with singing. I moved away and miss my lessons with Rickie so much!

Nicolette was such a great instructor! She was always very knowledgeable and patient with me. I learned so much from her. The lessons were started off with warm-ups/breathing exercises. Then we would work on a song that we chose together. I would sing as she made notes on what I did and didn't do well and then we'd go over those notes. The lessons were always VERY constructive and she would always leave me with exercises to help me improve between our weekly lessons. 10/10
