Hi, I'm Maye (she/her). Since graduating in 2014, I have traveled extensively throughout southeast Asia working as a STEM educator teaching engineering, science, and math to students of all ages. My favorite subject is mathematics, especially high school and college level math. In early 2020, I relocated back to the US due to the pandemic and am currently located in Downey, CA (20 mins east of downtown LA). My favorite part of teaching math is helping students to understand that math is not an innate talent but a skill that slowly builds with time. My aim is to always create a comfortable, no-judgement space where students can make mistakes
