About

As a creative, positive, and reflective child development professional, I invite children to dive deeply into their play, empowering them to reach their potentials. It has been my pleasure to serve hundreds of families in the course of my work so far. I build lasting connections with families because of my sunny, patient, and inquisitive demeanor-free of judgement. I consistently endeavor to provide quality, relationship oriented care. I design playful and open environments for learning, and capitalize on teaching opportunities spontaneously as they occur.

When I became a mom myself in 2018, I gained even more empathy for others on this journey of parenthood. I'm unwaveringly committed to improving the lives of children and their families through play-based learning and positive interactions. I invite you to see these values reflected in my work as you view my writing, video content, and my progress toward big dreams. Journey with me as I continue to evolve as a lifelong learner, teacher, mother, partner, and friend.

    Frequently asked questions

Play is an essential part of healing in early childhood development, and my sessions are play-based no matter the age of the child. Play provides therapeutic, physical, and social benefit to each individual child as they experience life and then process through play. Dr. Kenneth R. Ginsberg found that "Play is so important to optimal child development that it has been recognized by the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights as a right of every child." However, he went on to note that despite free, creative, child- centered play being declared as an inalienable right, the time given to children to engage in play has been "markedly decreased" (Ginsberg, 2017). My first session will look at the functions of behavior through play and how parents, teachers, and caregivers can plan to utilize this precious time for development and bonding.
