What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically a new student will begin with basic functional movements to assess where he/she might need some improved mobility and flexiblity. Some simple homefun assignments like drinking more water and obstaining from electronics upon waking. The goals is to begin the process of the new learning curve with consistency and patience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CPT ISSA 2004 (certified personal trainer)
B.S. Kinesiology 2011 (study of human body movement)
Yoga Nidra/Assisting 2015 (guided meditation & restorative yoga)
Jin Shin Jyutsu 2017 (light touch therapy that induces relaxition and harmonizes the bodies natural energy flow)

How did you get started teaching?
From my own fitness struggles that I had to overcome and which led me to want to inspire others to improve their lives as well. Being the slowest guy on my JV soccer team sparked some fire into me and resulted in massive action and determination to change my lifestyle. By the following year I had lost a total of 70lbs. and improved every aspect of my life.
What types of students have you worked with?
Anyone from a Collegiate level athlete to an obese 400lb. student. Usually students who are ready for health and wellness change and willing to take a hollistic mind body soul approach.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My client Linda hired me after a suffering a stroke and began with a 77bpm resting HR. Last week she measured in at 66bpm resting HR after about a year of working with me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you enjoy their approach to achieving a healthier lifestyle. They are passsionate about what they do and actually practice what they preach.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are they willing to fully commit and invest in a healthier future person. Even though a student may have many needs, they should tell the teacher that they are willing to put in 100% effort to overcome challenges.
