Her proficiency extends to imparting invaluable knowledge, as she teaches fashion design fundamentals, couture techniques, and various skills like pattern making, construction, draping, and illustration. With a rich background that includes four years as an instructional assistant and twelve years successfully running her own fashion business, Jasmine epitomizes excellence in the world of fashion. Jasmine holds two A.A. degrees in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from Chaffey College, and is completing her BFA in Fashion Product Development at the Academy of Art University.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically during our first session you will take a survey as well as participate in a fun sewing project to see where your skills are and to break the ice. If you are doing customized sessions we will jump right in and you will have opportunity to ask all the questions you’d like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
11+ Years Industry & Industry Related Experience. Associates Degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising. Certifications for costume design, fitting/tailoring, as well as pattern making.
I am a Professional Fashion Designer. I am accredited in all aspects of Fashion Design & Merchandising from Chaffey College. I am a business owner and freelance designer and have worked with multiple organizations including FCCLA in fashion programs, private lessons, and events.
Students can expect to improve week to week in their Fashion Design & Sewing techniques. Every student has a unique vision; I teach students to not only improve skill but bring their vision to life. I can help any student to sew with confidence.
I teach students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied all aspects of Fashion Design & Merchandising, Including textiles. I can teach students to read patterns, make technical patterns, and create patterns from clothes they love. As well as sewing excellence, by hand, machine and couture techniques. We can also learn sketching and design, or even draping and alterations whatever the student prefers.
As a professional designer I pride myself on knowing every aspect of the fashion Industry. My personal passion is the fit of garments on bodies but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you all and helping you become better creatives.

$40 per lessons. Each category listed is broken down into hourly class sessions. Sewing, illustration, digital technique, Merchandising, and pattern making. We offer specials and discounts as well as customized classes. For more information contact instructor directly.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I worked for another company that offered sewing parties for kids. While in school I also helped students during lab hours and am now a Fashion Program Instructional Assistant at a Community College for students seeking careers in Fashion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids 9-12yrs with young adults 13-18yrs, and adults 18 and Over. All skill levels are welcome.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Currently working on a bridal collection for unique brides. Collaborations with Shein.com, Small Brands and Fashion related Services through my Business Trindiblu LLC.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for packages and determine whether or not they are a right fit with your skills and the type of sewing you’d like to learn. Find a professional that is skilled and knowledgeable.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask what the benefits of the lessons are and if the teacher can assist them in progressing their skills especially if Your goal is to be well rounded in sewing.
