Hello! My name is Jacob, and I have been a violinist for 20 years. I also play the cello (a little bit), Piano (a little bit), and Viola. I intend to give students the same opportunity to excel at music that I was given by my teacher when I started taking violin lessons at 7 years old. I will personalize the curriculum for each student based on their individual needs. The particular book series that I use is the Suzuki method. This is because my violin teacher used it to teach me, and because Suzuki has instructions with pictures on how to hold the bow, stand properly, and hold the instrument with correct form. I started playing violin when I was 4 years old. After graduating in violin performance at the Lleida Conservatory (Spain) I started working in multiple music schools in Barcelona while pursuing my Composition studies. In 2014 I moved to NYC and completed a Master in Film Scoring by NYU (2016). I relocated to LA in 2020 due to my work in the Film Music industry. I've recorded violin for many TV productions for shows such as Ozark (Netflix), Castlevania (Netflix) or Tokyo Vice (HBO). As a composer I've written music for many TV Shows and Documentaries as well as Concert Music for many orchestras and ensembles in Spain. I'll be happy to shar
