What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first session is spent finding out goals the client has both in and out of basketball. Then the rest of the workout is spent finding out the baseline of the clients basketball skill and athletic ability. Then workouts can be made specifically for the client to build and reach their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 years of varsity high school basketball, 4 years of college basketball at the NAIA level. 1 year assistant coaching at the NAIA level. 5 years head coaching experience at the jr. high level. 5 years teaching experience. Bachelors degree in elementary education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For individuals I do $40/hour.
For groups of 2 or more I do $25/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I've always loved basketball and teaching. This is the perfect combination of my two biggest passions in life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students and athletes from kindergarten all the way through college.
