About
I teach Classical Pilates and design programs based on each individual so that you make progress at your own level.
Been teaching since 1997 and am fully certified in the entire Pilates Method (Mat and equipment) and so have worked with a very wide range of women and men. I also have several medical practitioners who are my clients and also send me referrals so I have worked with many types of injuries and back problems.
i am passionate about my work and am always seeking to improve the individual I am working with (no cookie cutter work). Each person is different and deserves special attention and I am happy to provide it!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know them I'm working out a program that seated to do and personal needs and working to progress them as needed and wanted always keeping in mind the correct level to work at to achieve this.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fully certified in the Pilates method Mat work and all equipment, including reformer Cadillac wunda chair and auxiliary apparatus.
Continuing education is something I am always working on since (Pilates) is a great passion of mine.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
This depends on if it's private if I need to travel or if it's two people or more.
How did you get started teaching?
A very good friend of mine who is a Pilates teacher and I started working with her in 1996 doing private lessons I essentially learned the whole syllabus from her and then went on to do two major training programs on all the equipment and the mat work a separate training program. I fell in love with the method from the beginning. I will forever grateful to my original teacher and many that followed her.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all different kinds of people from very fit and strong to seniors probably you name it and I have worked with that kind of person. I also have chiropractors that reefer me their patients that are also my personal clients. I have worked and still do with jet propulsion laboratory/NASA engineers scientists (actual rocket scientist), dancers choreographers, mothers legal secretaries flight attendants and on and on.
These people range in all abilities it doesn't really matter what you do Pilates is A method that is very universal. The original name of the reformer is actually the universal reformer.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just today I worked with a clients friend and got great results from helping him with what he needed he felt so much better and said he felt like he was in heaven. I've had many successes with my students whom I love.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To hire someone who will listen to you so that you get exactly what you're looking for. Different days or different your body feels different so the applicable exercises need to be applied to make forward progress.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is the teacher fully trained in the entire method. In my opinion it shouldn't be a knock off of the Pilates method as it is truly brilliant and it's own right and does have shades of gray so you have to be able to think within the framework of the exercises so they can be applied to the individual you're working with this does take experience and I have been doing this since 1997.
