I teach my students the fundamentals of drawing and painting using charcoal, soft pastel, watercolor, and oil painting. I can also incorporate the history of art into the lessons. I have been a special education teacher in the public school system for 23 years and love sharing my knowledge of art/art history. I enjoy proving that art is not a talent but a skill that can be learned as well as how the history of art defines a culture and vice versa.
