Hi Everyone! My name is Dr. Donna. I have five academic degrees, including a TESOL, law, and teaching. I offer online classes in a range of subjects. My goal is to make the classes enjoyable while we spend time together pursuing our greater learning.

I teach my students the fundamentals of drawing and painting using charcoal, soft pastel, watercolor, and oil painting. I can also incorporate the history of art into the lessons. I have been a special education teacher in the public school system for 23 years and love sharing my knowledge of art/art history. I enjoy proving that art is not a talent but a skill that can be learned as well as how the history of art defines a culture and vice versa.

I have been teaching in a classroom environment for over ten years. I have taught in a career school environment, Associate programs, Bachelor programs, and Master programs. I understand when a student and/or their parents are asking for a tutor, they are asking for more than just tutoring. Confidence needs to be restored, the feeling of being alone needs to be replace with the feeling of having a team, a mentor behind their endeavors.
