I have had a passion for helping others since I was a young girl. I began teaching dance while still a child and then went on to study dance, the body, and movement in college. I also began teaching yoga and fitness classes in college and beyond. Then came the personal struggle. Type 1 Diabetes, anorexia, bulimia, Diabulimia (Type 1 Diabetes with an eating disorder). I have lost and gained hundreds of pounds. I struggled with substance abuse. Thankfully, I overcame these struggles and earned my master's degree in social work. Now I combine the two in order to help others acheive their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual goals. I have my MSW degree and my 200 hr RYT. I also am certified in Y12SR which is yoga and the 12 steps of recovery. I am well versed in intuitive eating. I don't condone the diet mentality as I know it does not work. I don't pervay to be an expert, I meet you where you are on your journey as I once walked in your shoes. The issues are in our tissues and I believe that through movement of many different kinds, we can elicit and get the issues out. I am here to help you heal from the inside out and find a mind body regimen that works for you.

I have been teaching dance (ballet, tap, jazz, modern) since I was a child. I than studied dance in college and took up aerobics and started teaching that and yoga.
I have worked with all kinds of students. I currently teach at a gym so have a wide range of students with all levels of fitness ability. I also teach at a studio where most students range from their 50's-80's so I am able to cater to whatever need that your body has.
