Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Contact the student and the parent in order to set up a first meeting to evaluate the player and then decide on a training plan for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
6 years of training through college baseball. Studies in sports and performance psychology in college. Completing a full rehab after Tommy John surgery. Coaching players using the methods used in the big leagues for the past 5 years.

60 minute lessons $60
How did you get started teaching?
I have been involved in baseball since I was 5 years old. When I was playing college baseball I was introduced to Jerry Manuel and I began volunteering at the JMF program. Eventually I was hired in full time and promoted from pitching coach to throwing and pitching coordinator.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with players of all ages from 7 years old all the way up to adulthood.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don’t hire a coach based on their own playing experience or playing accomplishments. That only shows who they are as a player. Rather, hire someone based on their coaching ability and dedication to seeing you succeed. Find someone that you trust and that you can relate to, who you can understand.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? What would you like to accomplish? What is the most important thing for you to accomplish through training? How do you think I can help you most? How dedicated and committed to this process can you be right now? Are you willing to make sacrifices to gain the success you want?
