BYKM gives our students a more personal, transformational yoga experience. We are a community based studio, and work to make the experience comfortable for people of all ability levels.
Since first starting my yoga practice, I've absolutely fallen in love. I was motivated to become a teacher because I saw the impact yoga had on my life, and I wanted to help others experience the change for themselves. I love helping people and seeing the transofrmation they undergo during class, and, well... I just love yoga!
May 19, 2017 To: Jojo From: Rosa Sanchez I took three of the four meditation classes offered in the month of April / May. I am thankful I too the meditation classes. I am appreciative of having a caring and wonderful sister. My sister invited me to take the classes with her. I am pleased I did. Meditation is very helpful in my everyday life. Meditation relaxed my body, forced my mind to focus and I was able to release stress. I was unable to attend the last class because I had an unexpected surgery. During my surgery and recovery I did meditate. I used what I learned in class. I did not forget about my breathing exercises. The Hong Sau technique was extremely helpful for me. During my hospital stay, one of my relatives asked me what I needed. I said I need a notebook and pencil. They were surprised. I wanted paper to write down affirmations. This was something else we learned in class. I wrote - I am healthy. I am fine. I am well. I am happy and love ia all around me. Every morning said an affirmation to myself. I could not move but in my mind I did do the superconscious living exercises. When I was discharged from the hospital the doctor said he was surprised I did not ask for pain medication. MEDITATION IS THE BEST! Thank you
Hi Jojo, Thank you for having the Meditation Workshop! Personally, I learned a lot and I have improved my meditation skills since taking your class. Now, I know what I was doing wrong and why I fell asleep when I tried to meditate on my own. I enjoyed your stories about your Meditation journey and experiences. It created a personal connection to everyone in class. I also purchased a seat for my sister and she said that it was the "best gift". She recently was admitted to the hospital with severe pain. It turned out that she had a gall stones and needed urgent surgery. Unfortunately, all the gall stones were not removed the first time; and she ended up in the hospital for a second and third time. She said that the only way she was able to get through the pain was by using the meditation techniques from your workshop. It helped her so much that she did not need or want medication after the surgery. I am so grateful that you had this workshop. It truly was a blessing when my sister needed it the most. I hope you have more Meditation workshops in the future. I am mindful, grateful, and positive everyday. Forever Grateful, Margie Goff PS. You are in my thoughts, prayers, and meditation for positive energy to surround you today and everyday.
