About
Hello, my name is Vinicius! I am a capoeira and drumming teacher who is passionate about sharing Afro-Brazilian culture with the Bay Area. I love teaching capoeira and drumming lessons!
I was born in Salvador, Brazil and have taught Capoeira in Brazil and the US for years. While in Bahia I performed with Timbalada, a celebrated, revolutionary musical group founded by drummer Carlinhos Brown. I have performed internationally in numerous festivals, concerts, performances, and cultural events. Recently, I taught a women's drumming workshop in San Francisco to strengthen and share Afro-Brazilian culture.
