Our environmentally aware Wearable Art Academy studio makes for a cheerful mix of sewing-lounge camaraderie and creative studio. These classes are intended to be fun and informative, where you can learn & express yourself through your individual creativity, helping to make your dream of fashion design a reality. Our workshops offer a creative haven for anyone who loves sewing & wishes to reinvent his/her wardrobe that's one of a kind!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our Beginner Classes will guide you through the basics of your machine. You'll learn how to properly thread your machine, as well as how to sew the basic stitches it offers. While our classes are aimed mostly towards adults, children are welcome in our beginner classes. Come join us and get to know the ins and outs of your machine!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional Designer, and teacher. Graduated with an AS degree in Fashion and Costume Design in 2003, and have been designing and teaching at my Academy full time since.
