About
I’m a NASM certified Personal Trainer specializing in nutrition and women’s fitness. I’ve been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years and love helping people find their wellness in a comfortable and fun environment. With my mobile fitness model, I bring all the equipment you need for a challenging workout right to your door! No gym memberships, no hassles, just results. I put the FUN in Functional Fitness!
I love sharing my passion for healthy living and helping clients connect to their own wellness. When a client says to me "that was a great workout" at the end of a session, that makes my day. But my favorite thing about being a personal trainer is helping my clients find a positive relationship with exercise. With my mobile fitness model, people who haven't been successful in a gym setting can now find success by working out at home. I love meeting people in their comfort zone, where many barriers to exercise are already removed.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a get to know you call then schedule a fitness assessment. This assessment includes a series of historical health related questions, conversation about goals and outcomes along with flexibility and strength review. This helps me design a programmatic starting point for the training sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a NASM (National Association of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer specializing in women's fitness and nutrition. I've worked in the fitness industry just shy of 20 years and have been physically active my whole life. Flexibility, strength training and functional fitness are my primary focus along with assisting in weight loss plans.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge between $70-$100 an hour depending on amount of purchased sessions. I can go over the pricing structure over the phone or in person.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a ballet dancer and taught high school dance teams in my early 20's. Then I moved to California and started working for the YMCA where I taught group exercise classes. I then decided to become a personal trainer and started my own business when I moved to Marin County.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, shapes and sizes! I parimarily focus on Women's fitness - pre/post natal, weight loss, toning, gaining strength and building endurance.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Explore your desired goals and outcomes prior to communicating with a coach. Give yourself a reasonable time line to meet the goals. The coach can give you the tools to get there but you have to be ready to do the work.
