Due to COVID 19 I am currently in Austria/Europe!
I have a various taste therefore I have tried a lot of different styles and combined a lot of techniques.
I can work with a wide range of materials from stretchy to rigid. Thin-thick.
I love to sew corsets but also like stretchy bodysuits and bikinis.
Other days I feel like sewing a summer dress or skirt.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we discuss via email or phone what you want to learn. If you need generel help or help with a specific piece. Fabrics and supply,. etc etc
How much time you want to invest into your project?
1.create new garment ?
2. alter "old" garment ?
3. creative workshop - improve your crafting skills
4. Do you need help with fabric and supply shopping?
5. Do you have machines & tools? (If i travel to you)
6. Do you need help with sewing machine instructions/threading?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After I finished my education in Vienna (college of fashion design & masterclass- stage costume design) I worked on several fashion and art projects like Europe´s biggest charity event LIFE BALL, helped out at fashionshows, shootings and realized a lot of my own designs too.
I could also gain experience in the field of „Special Make up Effects“ and bodypainting. The last 4 years I worked at Austria´s biggest TV station (ORF) in the costume department, facing a lot of different challenges every day. Now it´s time for a creative timeout where I want to focus on my costumes and designs and teaching.

35 dollar per hour (per student)- (min. 2 hours if I travel to student)
Block of 4 hours - 100 dollar (can´t be split)
How did you get started teaching?
I started sewing when I was 11. Ever since it became my passion, work and hobby. I have worked and learned in different fields of costume and fashion industry and worked on smaller and bigger projects too. A lot of projects included teaching, helping, explaining and coaching teams.
What types of students have you worked with?
A few years I held sewing workshops for children and teens(age 7-15) twice a week and once a week an adult beginners workshop. Usually a group of 4.
It was fun to teach such little groups, but I want to concentrate on your needs and skills!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have to feel comfortable around your teacher. Sewing is fun and should stay that way.
I am going to help you- no stressing- no judging.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depending on your skills you should choose a realistic goal, but don´t forget you can learn everything- just be patient with yourself.
Depending on what you want to do you should think of supplys you might need (fabric, thread in right color, zipper, eyelets, buttons, etc etc)
Pattern: do you have a pattern, do you need help with the pattern
If you don´t want to create a new piece just alter or pimp your old clothes then just think about what you want to add or change
