My mom would sew my dresses for the holidays. I started to learn sewing from the young age. Occasionally, I will alter my own clothes or sew simple dress or skirt for myself. If you want to learn how to sew skirts, pants and simple dresses I am very happy to help you with it.
I am passionate about teaching anyone is intersted in learning to sew. I love working with different age group. It is enjoyable to be able to pass my experience to the people who love to sew and be creative.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will cover the following lessons:
Lesson #1: Going to Joann for purchasing all your required supply. Practice threading a sewing machine and practice sewing a straight line.
• Lesson #2: Topstitching and linings
• Lesson #3: Simple Hand Sewing
o Students will learn how to hand sew a slipstitch which is perfect for closing off pillows and hemming skirts.
• Lesson #4: Working on a pattern for making a dress or skirt.
• Lesson #5: How to sew a zipper.
Third meeting: • Lesson #6: How to make a casing and finishing up on what need to be completed.
First you will learn how to make a pillow case. Then you will learn how to make a pajama pant. Second, you will work with a pattern to make a skirt or simple dress.

I started to do sewing when I was a teenager. I love fashion, clothing and shopping.
