FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Our first step is a brief phone consultation to see if we're a good fit and to discuss the customer's needs and desires. Next, we schedule an introductory session. Finally, we assess the desired frequency of sessions and create a schedule to work together.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

200-hour RYT, Senior Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Kids and Family Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates (HIIT Training), barre

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with clients looking to establish or expand a meditation practice. My meditation sessions are personalized to the client's energy and needs for each session.

For movement, I work mostly with seniors, beginners to yoga (both physically fit and de-conditioned beginners), adults with mobility or other health issues. I also teach a more vigorous Vinyasa for students who are looking for more of a challenge.

I guide women looking to reclaim themselves after giving all of themselves to something else, be it children or a career.

I offer breathwork healing sessions to allow clients to release unprocessed emotions that are stuck in the body, allowing them to breakthrough to new levels in their lives.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are your primary goals in working together? What are some extra benefits you hope to get out of your sessions? Do you want the professional to come to your home, or do you prefer to practice outside of your home or virtually? Do you have any health issues or other needs? What are your main sources of stress in your daily life? What would your life be like if you could ease some of those stresses?
