The Honorable Hustle

My name is Coach Ro, I have always had a love for the game of football. I have played at all levels from Pop Warner to Semi Pro and invited to Raiders Training Camp. Now it is time to pass down the knowledge that I have to the next, which would be in my love of coaching and training up young men to be the best they can be on and off the field. Building them up to be men. I believe that I was given a gift to mentor and encourage the next generations.

Footwork is key! It's a slept on aspect. A lot of kids are weight-room driven which is a great advantage but with footwork you change the game. Explosiveness, change of pace and setting opponents up a play ahead. The mental aspect of the game as a defender is paying attention to the non-verbals such as offensive lineman showing play tendencies and offensively have you paid attention to the aggression(or non) queues pre-play to sniff out blitzs and stunts.Teaching kids to think out of the box while still executing the offense/defense play.
