Chris is an amazing guitar teacher. I am a total beginner, and was unsure if I could play a musical instrument. Chris has given me the confidence and knowledge to keep practicing and moving forward with my new hobby. Thanks Chris!!

    Frequently asked questions

I offer a free first lesson, much like an interview so that I can explain my process in detail, learn your goals and ambitions with music, and help you set benchmarks for yourself.

I then personalize a lesson plan for you that shifts with your learning style and speed.

I have an Associates in Arts and Music, and am currently furthering my education towards a bachelor's degree in music composition. That is coupled with over 10 years of musical performance.

    Normal Rates are as follows:

    $40 for a half-hour lesson

    $50 for a forty-five minute lesson

    $60 for an hour lesson

pricing varies based on frequency, duration, and difficulty of lessons

Discounts are offered to students who are genuinely serious, have consistent and good attendance, and/or buy lessons in bulk.

If you work with me, I'll work with you!

I began learning music when I was the age of 9, ever since I have had a desire to learn and have aspired to teach in a professional capacity.

I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, ranging from 4-78 years of age to 0-35 years of guitar experience.

Day 1 beginners are just as welcome as an expert trying to sharpen skills.

I've recently concluded lessons with a teenage student who has been studying under my guidance for 7 months, (roughly 25 lessons). She can now play any song that she wants with ease and it warms my heart any time that I hear her playing what she wants without needing me to hold her hand.

Make certain that you have a personal instrument that you care about and are excited to learn on. (I can provide recommendations free of charge)

What should I be looking for out of my lessons; what are my goals? Also, how long am I able to realistically practice daily? Practice is key and will do more for you than any tutor or teacher could on their own.
