JAM Guitar Lessons

I started taking guitar lessons with Jason six years ago, and it has become my weekly safe haven and outlet! Jay’s love for teaching really shines through to all of his students, and I actually met him at a show where he was watching his students perform. It was obvious then what kind of teacher he would be - His love for music and his students is really what sets him apart from any other teacher, and I would never recommend anyone else - He is the BEST! He understands music on a deeper level than most musicians, and he is amazing at breaking complicated things down in an easy way that I can understand.

I was hesitant to start taking lessons as an adult, but Jay was always encouraging and uplifting, helping me take my music in any direction I wanted to! He always embraces my girlie random music, and, with his help, I have gone from - no clue how to play a guitar - to writing and recording my own music! He is also an excellent composer and producer. He embraces whatever style you want to go in, and he’s super creative! He always comes up with the most inspired guitar licks and he amazes me every time we play! Jamming with him is probably one of my favorite pastimes, and it is always the highlight of my week. I leave his lessons feeling ecstatic, inspired, and uplifted! Along with his obvious passion for teaching, he also has a very impressive career touring around the world, working with many well-known and talented artists, and when he really gets into the groove, it is musical magic! He is an AMAZINGLY talented guitarist! It is honestly SO fun to be apart of! He always has an optimistic attitude and I give him my highest recommendation! You or your child will always have fun, learn and grow their own style of music, and feel uplifted after every session- guaranteed!

Jason personalizes your needs based on experience and being able to fill in any gaps in your playing and/or knowledge of the guitar. On top of this, he’s very friendly and focused on you, the student. He’s helped me improve my playing immensely. Whatever you need, regardless of what level you’re playing at, Jason has the talent, the teaching skills, and the materials you need to train with (your homework). I can wholeheartedly recommend Jason for anyone interested in learning the guitar.

Jason is a great guitarist and fun to learn from. I enjoyed jamming with him to various blues and other songs.

JAM Guitar lessons has proven to be the absolute best choice for my son’s guitar journey. Jason is a fantastic guitarist that is fun and energetic. He has a certain style about him that is very unique. You just have to trust the process. Not only learning from him is fun, we noticed we have a lot in common.
