D1 Baseball Training And Advisory
About
As a current coach for the Chicago Cubs scout team, as well as baseball and softball coach for over 20+years, I know what it takes to get to the next level. For young players it's lots of positive reinforcement and growing their love for the game by making it (practice)fun.
My twins both play D1 college baseball and it's through them (and others) that I've refined my "all-in" approach. For players looking to college and getting the attention from college recruiters, It's a lot more than just lessons. It's an A plan with B and C plans ready in waiting that involve dedication, social media, mental focus, and conditioning, metrics, and communication skills. I create a marketable player that colleges on all levels need. Not all players have everything it takes to go D1, but they should never for even a second believe that they can't achieve success on the field or in life if they work hard enough.

It's a privilege to grow the game and develop players at all levels. Good coaches are hard to come by so it's important to build a players love for the game through coaching and practice. Fun is the name of the game!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I determine what level the player is currently at and how motivated the player is. There's a lot of effort needed to get good and it's best for all involved if the player really loves the game. If we decide to work together, we assess skill sets and use video analysis and reps to hone those skills. I'm not a BP thrower, so if your looking for that help I can recommend someone in my network...I take a look at the entire player wholistically and build confidence and improve technique to help get them to the next level.
