Hi! My name is zachary hunt. I am 25 years old and have a passion for teaching kids the sport I love and excelled at. I have been teaching kids the sport of baseball since I was in high school still playing before I injured my arm my senior year and started doing lessons during college for 2 years in Huntington Beach and took a break from lessons to focus on school but now I am done with school and ready to start back up again with new clients. Now I am in Agoura Hills ready to start at earliest convenience with affordable pricing. I traveled all over the Country, From the ages of 9-17 on travel teams playing in tournaments and had the time of my life. I was a power hitter with a very quick and level swing with extremely high patience while at the plate. I was a starting pitcher with my fastball reaching around the high 80s/low 90s. My secondary positions were 3rd/1st base when I was not pitching. I teach every aspect of pitching, hitting, and fielding. If you name it, I can help with it. We will accomplish your goals that you want to achieve as long as you put the work in because I will invest in you to help you grow to the best player you can be.
I enjoy the satisfaction of being able to pass on what I worked so hard for to the next group of kids who want to work as hard as I did to be great. I am just so passionate about teaching this sport to kids. I love baseball with all my heart and if someone else can learn to love baseball because of me, then there is no better feeling in this whole world than that one.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we establish what the student needs the most help in and what aspect they want to work on. Once that’s established I set up personalized sessions and excercises and drills to work on at home in between sessions so your mechanics can improve everyday
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played baseball my whole life at high levels and in competitive environments. I also work very well with kids and teenagers, so this is a perfect fit for me

By the pure love of the game and wanting to share my gift with others so they can find the same love I dound when I was their age

I have worked with kids of all ages. My most consistent ones have been 8-14 year olds

Winning all three of my softball leagues this spring for the 3rd season in a row!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would look for someone who is passionate about what they do because that’s where you will find the most success.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think they shouldn’t think through their questions because that’s why I am there, asking more questions is better because u can’t learn anything if you are not engaged and invested in what the teacher is telling the student
