I have a very unique nutritional approach that uses body and temperature and pulse to see how well you are doing. It’s unique because I don’t need to have you spend $$Thousands of dollars on labs. I’m able to see what foods work and don’t work for you and guide you to place where you have a healthier relationship with food.
For training I use natural movement and focus on getting you stronger and more connected to your body. All my workouts incorporate movements you are designed to do. They integrate whole body movements that allow you to be more mobile, have more freedom and help you feel like you can do things you never were able to do before. No boring curls, or bench press and outdoor is preferred.
I see potential in everybody. It’s our birthright to be strong healthy capable beings. We were designed to heal ourselves, have freedom to move and enjoy life with strength. I love when I get to restore that to someone’s life who maybe didn’t think that was possible. To give them back something they thought they lost. I love that more then anything.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, it’s first important to understand what are your needs. From there I can identify what the block or obstacle is and best way to overcome that. Some people are self motivators and need just a little guidance while others need to a little extra support or motivation. No two people are the same. Everybody has experienced different life situations, circumstances and has different beliefs so you can’t put everyone in the same box. Once I see what services are best for you I create a plan of action.

How did you get started teaching?
I’ve been teaching since I graduated high school.
I’ve always had a passion helping people.
When I was 18 and training for Iron man, my mentor and trainer believed I had what it takes and hired me to help build his team. That was in in 2000. I haven’t looked back. Training people all over the world reach their goals has been a dream come true.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with children, adults, athletes, people trying to rehab injuries and heal from disease. It’s important to meet the student where they are. We are all on a journey of health and that’s what it is. A journey, not a destination. I have a lot of information to share with people who want to get better.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was working with a lady in her early 50’s who suffered from “code red” migraines, was stiff and recovering from breast cancer surgery. She was so sweet and you could see in her face she wanted to get better so badly.
We worked together 2-3x a week and focused on her nutrition. Within a few months, the headaches that would debilitate her for days at a time are gone. She became strong 💪🏽 and got her first pull up. It was an amazing transformation.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who cares about you and takes time to understand where you came from. Hire someone you trust and feel connected too. Make sure they have clients who will vouch for them and will talk to you about their experience.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think the biggest disconnect is the clients expectations of themselves and their coach.
