Hello! My name is Jacob, and I have been a violinist for 20 years. I also play the cello (a little bit), Piano (a little bit), and Viola. I intend to give students the same opportunity to excel at music that I was given by my teacher when I started taking violin lessons at 7 years old. I will personalize the curriculum for each student based on their individual needs. The particular book series that I use is the Suzuki method. This is because my violin teacher used it to teach me, and because Suzuki has instructions with pictures on how to hold the bow, stand properly, and hold the instrument with correct form. I have been inspiring students to feel the joy of making music for decades. I have a Degree in film Scoring and I curently teach Strings, Ukulele and Band at Ocean Charter School. I toured with former Eagle, Randy Meisner for four years playing Guitar, Flute Sax and Keyboards.
