Championship Performance Advantage
About
As a volleyball & basketball trainer I am interested in the progress of every athlete that I encounter. I want to improve athletes physically in their sport and also mentally. In my athletic career I feel that my mentality is what seperated me from others players when the level on competition was high.
I work at Championship Performance Advantage. You can look up this business on google or yelp for you to get familiar with our business. We are open 7 days a week and want to help every athlete that comes through our door. I have been working here for a year now, which my time here as improved me as a trainer. But I have been training athletes since 2017. I continue to learn as a trainer and try to improve my methods.
As an athlete I played basketball throughout my whole life, I trained as much as I could. I played on elite teams that won multiple tournaments and state tournaments. I trained to play in college, I had multiple offers to play in college before deciding to play volleyball.
As an athlete in volleyball I played at Emmanuel College. A starter all 4 years at the school and a 3 year captain of the team. 3rd all time assist leader in school history. I was on the all tournament team my junior year and recieved second team all conference for three years in my collegiate career. I was second in the nation with total assists and in the top 10 for assists per set. I played setter and currently trying to pursue a professional career in indoor volleyball.
What I enjoy most is seeing young athletes grow in their athletics and seeing them turn into young adults. Also seeing athletes mentality change is what I love to see when I work. I worked with many kids who say they can't do this or do that. Seeing the athlete start off with that mentality to becoming confident is what I love to see. I also enjoy making connections with kids. I was a young athlete before, I know the struggles of being a kid. From the good coaches I encountered in my dad I know hoe important this work really is. I want to pay it foward and help as many athletes as I can. With my personality I connect very well with kids, I have been wrking with them my whole life

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In a first session I start out with a few drills to see the level of the athlete. I also start off with questions so the athlete gets comfortable with me. I work on all skills throughout our time working together. Unless the athlete wants to work on a specific skill. Through that encounter I use my drills according to what the athlete wants. A young beginner athlete I will be very technical with a slower pace and a intermediate athlete will be a little bit faster with the same amount of technical detail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a collegiate athlete trying to pursue a career playing volleyball professionally. I have trained for many years and know what is required to make it to the next level. I have always been about sports and very passionate when committing to a goal that I set for myself. I have trained with other professional athletes, played againsts them and also learned from them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
