I just won a Tony and Obie for the show called Oslo last year playing one of the leads. I have been acting since I was a child. I have studied with great Michael Howard, Uta Hagen, Allen Miller, and Charlie Richter. I have developed my own way and system based on all the styles I have studied. I am an ethnic actor and was the first Iranian American to be a network series regular in 2003 for ABC, so I am an expert on teaching ethnic actors on how to get work including children. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet with them. Assess them. And then work with scenes and audition materials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with some of the biggest and best artists in this industry. From Mike Nichols to Michael Bay. From Geena Davis to Holly Hunter. I have worked with all the best producers in the industry as well. I’ve been in the industry for 30 years.

Pricing is based on many factors that will be discussed with students when we set up appointments.

I love sharing my knowledge. I love helping people. I’m good at helping people. I know how to get actors jobs. I get them myself.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try different one’s till you find one you like.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How serious am I about being an artist? If all I want is fame, do I really want to be an actor? Do I want to study with some clown acting guru who has no clue about getting an acting job or do I want to work with someone who just won a Tony.
