About
I have over 20+ years of experience in Martial Arts and since the age of 5, I have been very seriously involved in studying Shotokan Karate, then later in my early teenage years I started to practice kickboxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have competed in many of those disciplines listed above and currently I am an active MMA fighter.
But competition and fighting is just a minimal aspect of Martial Arts. Discipline and studying each and every single technique while maintaining a healthy lifestyle supported by cardio, strength and conditioning are really the most fundamental elements. What I do with my students is not just drill basic moves, but I explain how every move is done and why we are doing it this way. I provide each student with a unique guideline based on experience and physical abilities. Whether you want to train to learn some moves, or you want to become a competitor, I will work with you and we will follow a plan to reach success.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like take some extra time before the initial class and evalute my students physical attributes. I always start with light cardio to get warmed up, following by some stretching to minimize injuries and then explain to the student what we will be working on based on their personal goals. I will start with basic exercises, stance, position and breathing. I always make sure to demonstrate step-by-step how the movements must be done and work with the student to improve the technique.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20+ years of martial arts experience, and I am a licensed fighter.
