Hello, I'm Tamika, an artist specializing in singing, songwriting, and performance.
My lessons are designed to help you improve your vocal performance skills and learn how to enhance your stage presence. All lessons are suitable for singers of all levels who want to improve their vocal technique and develop their ability to engage with an audience on stage.
You'll discover how to harness your voice to convey emotions, forging profound connections with your audience. I'll guide you in mastering essential techniques like proper breathing, voice support, and a range of vocal embellishments including vibrato, belting, falsetto, and more.
In addition to vocal technique, you will also learn how to enhance your stage presence through facial expressions, and movement.
Each student will receive a personalized song to work on, tailored to enhance both vocal prowess and stage charisma.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I provide a free consultation over the phone to get to know the student. During the conversation, we discuss goals and lesson plans. Additionally, we set a time to meet up and I provide warms up and unique techniques for their voice the student will pick a song and we will study and practice the song in great detail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with professional vocal coaches, been singing in the music industry for 10 years, I used to sing in choirs which helped me with my range and also I have provided vocal lessons for individuals who have no experience with singing and worked with vocalists who want to better their vocal skills.

How did you get started teaching?
I started in 2017 with my first student and the overall experience was amazing . I saw my student’s growth and confidence in singing and it made me want to continue to teach the knowledge I have in singing.
