During this period of cultural diversity in our society, we also find ourselves to have the unique fortune of bringing excellency in training in the Western, Indian and diverse styles of music, thus training by ear and by notation, to our younger generations. Students of our school actively perform on stages - big and small. Many of our students take and c ... View Profile

I am an experienced student, teacher, and performer that has taught over 75 students ranging in age and ability. I hold a Bachelors degree in Music from Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am currently an elementary and middle school music teacher in Rockville, MD!
We are the premier Arts Integration Learning experience in Rockville. This means the curriculum is based on crossing over different types of knowledge to contextualize music in every day life! For example, students learn about the anatomy of the ear ( and how Beethoven went deaf) as well as physics of sound (and how it impacts the voice) in relation to their music repertoires. Classical music is stuck in the dark ages, so we make it fun! I got my undergrad degrees from the University of Maryland in 2018 in Piano Performance and Music Education. In my practicum teaching, I saw bored kids in their music classes struggling to care about th ... View Profile
