I teach all ages. Start piano usually around 6 years old Start guitar students at 6 on ukelele then to 1/2 or 3/4 size guitar around 9. Flute students usually start around 5th or 6th grade. Kate Bass is an internationally recognized singer, songwriter, and educator with over 15 years of experience performing and teaching worldwide. She has appeared on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, and with major orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, and her voice has been featured on Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award–nominated projects. As a teacher, Kate has served on the vocal faculty at Pepperdine University and as a Teaching Artist with the Metropolitan Opera Guild. She has led masterclasses, songwriting workshops, and cultural exchange programs across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia, including U.S. State Department–sponsored programs

Although i do have a BA in Music Performance and a Masters in Music Education, my teaching style was formed from many years as a working, touring musician! My specialty is voice but my guitar and piano students think I’m pretty good!!
